Claiming Your Executive Voice: Communicate like a leader
September 10, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
$750An “Executive Voice” is the ability to communicate high level ideas while conveying confidence and credibility in the details. People who have to communicate complicated messages to a wide range of audiences (board members, C-Suite, clients, partners, employees and peers) may find that it is difficult to determine what details to share, how to convey a vision and project the aura of leadership.
A command of the information is only helpful if the audience can understand, appreciate and connect to the messenger.
In this workshop aimed at high-level managers and directors, each participant will gain valuable communication skills:
- Simplify, condense and organize critical information.
- Connect and align tone, language and intent.
- Understand the obstacles to an audience hearing your message (and how to navigate them).
- Identify and avoid unnecessary emotional snags.
The result is a happier workplace culture.
Workshop Description:
Seth is known for leading workshops that get to the heart of the possibilities within each person. Rather than spend the time going through a cookie-cutter process, each participant will have an opportunity to engage in a process of clarifying their own language, communication style, and impact in real time. Seth creates an environment in which people can be honest, accept feedback, and grow. He will be leading this workshop with public relations expert Ted O’Meara who has worked on several political campaigns and helped businesses align their messages more accurately with their values.
Participants will be asked to deliver a presentation to the group and receive feedback on language, tone, physical presence and clarity of message.
“Seth helps find our authentic voice and become more aware of things that interfere with expressing ourselves and resonating more fully with our teams.” – Joshua Broder, CEO, Tilson Technolog
