Speaking to the CEO: How to be clear, concise and confident
November 12, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
$750When the CEO (or an executive of any department) asks a question, it can be difficult to know exactly what level of detail they want to hear. Leaders tend to want short, concise and clear information that is both relevant to the big picture and without unnecessary commentary. In essence, they want exactly the right information in exactly the most useful way, which is a high bar to set for most people who are just learning how to communicate with an Executive suite.
In this workshop we will work with participants on the following skills:
- Body language and conveying a calm, confident presence.
- Crisp, short answers to complicated questions.
- Connecting details to the big picture.
- How to determine what are the important details.
- Managing your own emotions.
Direct reports, Directors and managers who have to deliver complicated messages to a CEO or an Executive team will not only benefit personally and professionally from learning these skills in a full day workshop, the Executive team will benefit from getting cleaner, crisper and more understandable reports from their teams.
Where: Valico Group Offices, 178 Middle Street, Suite 503 Portland Maine
When: 11/05/2019 9 am to 5 pm (Full day)
Who: anyone who struggles to give clear and confident messages to the Executive teams. (Limited to twelve participants.)
Workshops are led by Seth Rigoletti, Leadership Coach.
“Seth’s focus on how a message is received (not just how to deliver it) is a critical differentiator between making a good manager into a great connector. Giving people tools to understand that perception is where I think he stands out from other coaches/consultants in his domain.” – Ken Grady, CIO IDEXX
